On March 28, 2025, at SZ REDA – Stara Zagora Regional Economic Development Agency, we had the pleasure of organizing a stakeholder meeting in Stara Zagora as part of the “RenewStart for Hydrogen Technologies” project, funded by the European Climate Initiative (EUKI).

The event brought together key regional stakeholders, including:

  • Mrs. Diana Ganeva, Director of the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Water (RIEW), Stara Zagora

  • Mr. Oleg Stoilov, Chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Stara Zagora

  • Mr. Georgi Stanchev, Manager of the Municipal Company “Trolleybus and Bus Transport”, Stara Zagora

During the meeting, the team presented the project’s progress and achievements to date, along with an analysis of the potential for integrating renewable energy sources with hydrogen technologies in the region. A panel discussion followed, focusing on opportunities for public-private partnerships to drive innovation forward.

This open dialogue emphasized the importance of collaborative action in fostering innovation and sustainable development. Together, we laid the groundwork for future long-term partnerships and the exchange of best practices.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants for their engagement and inspiring ideas. We are truly motivated by our shared mission and optimistic about the path ahead!
