According to the latest report by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office (URE), small renewable energy (RES) installations produced nearly 4.8 TWh of electricity in 2024 — marking an impressive 20% increase compared to 2023.

  Increased from 5,620 in 2023 to 6,800 in 2024

• Total installed capacity:
  Surpassed 5 GW, up from 4 GW the previous year

• Leading source:
  Solar photovoltaics, generating over 75% of electricity in this category
