We were at the Family Science Picnic “H2 Krosno”!

Last Saturday, September 20, “Naftówka” in Krosno became a hub of scientific discoveries during the Family Science Picnic “H2 Krosno.”

This unique event had one goal – to show children and adults the potential of hydrogen and its importance in the energy transition.

In the Science Zone, participants enjoyed fascinating popular science lectures, while in the Experiment Zone, the youngest visitors independently explored the secrets of chemistry, the properties of hydrogen, and the richness of rocks and minerals.

Experts from the Institute of Power Engineering – National Research Institute, Dr. Eng. Marcin Błesznowski and Dr. Eng. Ryszard Kluczowski, demonstrated how renewable energy sources (wind and solar) can be integrated with hydrogen technologies to mitigate the effects of climate change.

The picnic was another opportunity to raise energy awareness within the RenewSTART project.

Initiatives like this show that science and education can inspire whole families to explore the future of energy together!
