On the 16th of October, a hybrid meeting of the Energy and Climate Change Committee of LITHUANIAN CONFEDERATION OF INDUSTRIALISTS was held to discuss “Hydrogen technologies and their development and deployment opportunities in Lithuania.” More than 30 participants from academia and variety of industries attended the event.
Dr. Darius Milcius had the opportunity to present an overview of the current state of hydrogen technologies, from global trends and industrial applications to the prospects for establishing hydrogen valleys in Lithuania and the broader Baltic Sea region.
The discussion, joined by Amber Grid’s Energy Transformation Center Head Danas Janulionis, highlighted how hydrogen can play a vital role in decarbonizing energy systems and strengthening energy security.
