Strengthening Collaboration for Hydrogen and Clean Energy Transition!

This week, Dr Anna Niemczyk, a key expert on the Renestart for Hydrogen Technologies project, participated in a series of strategic meetings to support national efforts in hydrogen and low‑emission technology development.

On 18 March, Dr Niemczyk visited Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where she met with Dr Karolina Kordek‑Khalil, leader of the research team working on catalysts for low‑temperature electrolysers at the Faculty of Chemistry. The discussion focused on mapping research capabilities, strengthening scientific collaboration, and identifying opportunities for joint activities in the hydrogen technology landscape.

On 19 March, she participated in the Energia Kobiet meeting hosted by Fortum in Wrocław. As part of the programme, the participants visited Fortum’s impressive 12.5 MW heat pump installation, followed by discussions on decarbonisation pathways for district heating and the role of renewable, low‑emission technologies in driving the energy transition.

These activities directly contribute to the project’s goals by:
🔹 Mapping national activities in hydrogen and low‑emission technologies
🔹 Strengthening collaboration between industry, academia, and energy stakeholders

The insights gathered during these meetings will help accelerate coordinated actions within the Renestart for Hydrogen Technologies initiative.
